Consort Place project was designed to meet the current and future demand of a large property with consideration for a planned air source heat pump instillation. The air source element was to see an exponential increase in electricity consumption and therefore the system design needed to take into account this increase. NPS delivered a solar array with 18 panels installed on the main house and then 10 further units installed on a low pitch north facing outbuilding. Some groundworks were needed to connect the two solar arrays to the Garage where the inverter and batteries were installed giving the client 20 kW of storage to facilitate storage from both the solar and from the grid at low tariff times.

What our customers say
NPS expertise was obvious from initial contact, understanding our needs and offering several alternative solutions. Choice of SolarEdge control equipment and relevant Solar Panel spec was well explained and detailed discussions with senior leaders in the company which provided great confidence. Final quote was fully competitive and value for money. The install appeared to go very smoothly with an expert team working well together. Installation was very tidy, cables aligned and batteries well located. We have been very impressed with system performance, generating electricity on really overcast days; monitoring app has been upgraded to give us more control and support from SolarEdge and the NPS team has been world class! We’ve spent May to September almost fully off-grid and exported over 2 mWh back to the grid!
