NPS have successfully completed instillations at 21 key sites across Salford, the program initially incorporated 12 site however with the addition of funding the contract was extended by a further 9 sites. The scheme was an incredible success and SCC are delighted with the work done by NPS through this project.
What our customers say
At Salford City Council we have found working with NPS to be very positive, we have benefitted immensely from their experience in delivering roof mounted PV projects. NPS have installed PV systems on 21 of Salford City Council’s public sector estate properties within our Public Sector Decarbonisation Scheme (PSDS) programme, all with differing requirements whether that be size of installation, existing roof restrictions, numbers of panels, load capacity etc. The ballasted/ floating mounting system which was proposed for two of our biggest sites within the programme was designed by NPS to meet the needs of these large leisure centre buildings with no roof penetrations to keep the integrity of the roof intact. The PSDS PV programme at circa £1.2m has been a challenging programme to deliver in extremely strict timescales. NPS have worked tirelessly to deliver to time and budget for Salford, we have found the team at NPS very easy to work with, flexible and accommodating with great communication with the client and sites. The installations have been delivered on time and with minimal disruption to our very busy sites. Similarly NPS has previously delivered Solar PV on Salford Schools through a community funded programme promoted by Greater Manchester Community Renewables. These installations were carried out efficiently during the restricted time periods of school holidays and feedback from the schools was very positive.
